1.Difference between the treeview and the menu ? Ans. Menu control is comprised of one or more menu items typically organized into different levels of hierarchy.Menu control conceptually contains two types of menus: static menu that is always displayed on the page and dynamic menu that pops out when a parent menu item is hovered over.   Tree view control is a powerful server control for rendering Treeview UI.It supports both postback styles events and simple hyperlink navigaion as well as unique event handling model that allows data to be retrieved directly froma client without requiring server postback advantage of up level capabilities. 2.Which is the first method that is invoked when you open the asp.net page? Ans. At application level,application_start in global.asax file or at page level its  page_init is invoked. 3.How the sessions are maintained and where? What happens in session start and session end events? Ans. Sessions are maintained in server memory.Session_start and session_end event occurs whenever the user enters or leaves the website.A session is defined as the time period that a unique user interacts with the web application. Check this!!!! 4.What is formview used for in asp.net 2.0? Ans.Formview control is a databound control that renders a single record at a time from its associated data source,optionally providing paging buttons to navigate between records.It is similar to detailsview control except that it requires the user to define the rendering of each item using templates instead of using data control fields.
